this hurts, it hurts to look at you and it hurts trying to feel myself into your body, you are imprisoned whithin your body but you suffer in silence

What fascinates me about art sculptures is that something was pulled out of the artist’s imagination and materialized in the same set of 3 dimensions that we exist. Complete with shadows, crevices, presence. This piece feels like a hallucination. From a distance it appears humanoid, but upon closer inspection reveals its alien components. Perhaps our physiology is nothing more than a hallucination, normalized.

This is so elegant and strange or disturbing in the same moment. Really love the shapes and details.
