It feels fresh and anonymous. Identity is flooded under the freedom that death can leave. Stop being one, start being everything.

It reminds me on contemporary life. Where we are more and more virtualised by avatars. Here nature is an important part of the character.

A plant that came to senses as a humanoid. Unfamiliarity with his surroundings reflect in the lifelessness of his eyes.

Looking for new ways to express myself

My great-aunt was recently buried beneath a young tree. She and the tree will now spend the next phase of life coalescing into new organic forms. Extrapolating the optimism of this permacultural process, how can we re-conceive of other forms of decay as new growth, new directions? As old forms rot, fall away or become obsolete, what fertile potential lies in new vacancy? If nothing else, perhaps consider that the risk of other, more intangible forms of decay while alive (spiritual, emotional, artistic) may pose a greater threat to us than physical decomposition in death.

I'm striving to have faith, I'm striving to believe that everything unfolds for a reason, I'm working on letting go of my ego and my ideas. I'm undergoing a transformation.

That’s how I now imagine a friend of mine: an incredible human body full included in the wild and spontaneous nature, which grows around us without we even notice it
