Companionship Adventure A place to go to

The more I look at this illustration, what gets louder in my mind is the symphony of whispered exchanges taking place between the characters. A conversation of hopelessness, despair, quiet resignation, submission. They don’t look at each other. Rather, they both look into the blankness of their fluid existence. Immigrants, sometimes, look like water. They eventually take the shape of the cup they‘re poured in, if they don’t want to spill over.
